CRI NEL CUORE Project
CRI NEL CUORE project is carried out by the Croce Rossa Italiana – Committee of Udine, sponsored by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, in synergy with SORES, Federsanità and ANCI FVG. It provides for the installation of over one hundred semi-automatic defibrillators on the territory of the province of Udine accessible to all the population 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, connected to the LIFELink Central portal and, during use, to the Regional Emergency Operating Room. Also, it furnishes the BLSD Certified training of over six hundred new lay operators eager to be able to provide assistance in case of ACI.
All charges are borne by the Italian Red Cross – Committee of Udine.
MET-LIFE medical division of METLAB S.r.l. has dealt with of all technical aspects from the point of view of choice of the devices both of the installation. MET-LIFE will take care of the technical surveillance and the device maintenance.
INSIEME PER IL CUORE Project
Starting from CRI NEL CUORE Project is taking shape INSIEME PER IL CUORE, an emergency prevention work plan related to sudden cardio circulatory arrest.
Thanks to the collaboration with the municipal administrations, Met-Life wants to apply widely, with the same information methodology adopted previously, to the various social segments such as:
- Educational, sporting and recreational activities (associations, gyms, summer centers …)
- Housing realities (condominiums …)
- Social and health care organizations (associations …)
- Commercial and productive realities (companies, shopping centers …)
- Services (security, Hotel and tourism, transport …)
In order to achieve the objectives underlying our philosophy, we have promoted the project INSIEME PER IL CUORE with the aim of spreading the culture of cardio protection through the organization of popular events, meetings and seminars aimed at raising awareness and knowledge of the issue.
LA SCIENZA NEL CUORE Project
Following the CRI NEL CUORE Project, Met-Life’s idea is to equip the major squares of Trieste and the squares of the major towns of the province with semi-automatic defibrillators, considering that in 2020 the regional capital will become the Capital of Science.
The project, under development, is called LA SCIENZA NEL CUORE.
To address the costs necessary to carry out the project, examined the context, we want to involve the scientific institutions, the public administration, the foundations and all the bodies that wish to be an active part of the project.
Progetto FONDO PARITETICO “SOLIDARIETA’ MONTAGNA”
Nel 2018 a sostegno delle popolazioni dell’Alto Friuli colpite dalla tempesta Vaia, CONFINDUSTRIA, Cgil Udine, CAF CISL FVG. Caf Uil Udine, hanno sottoscritto il Fondo Paritetico “Solidarietà Montagna”, che prevede non soltanto la ripresa delle normali attività economiche e sociali, ma anche il rilancio delle condizioni di crescita del territorio montano. Grazie alla generosità dei lavoratori friulani, Met-Life ha installato 12 defibrillatori Lifepack CR2 Wi-fi presso cinque comuni della montagna friulana: Lauco, Raveo, Rigolato, Stregna, Trasaghis.
Progetto FORWARD HEARTS
Forward Hearts è il progetto promosso da STRYKER, che consente ai sopravvissuti di un improvviso arresto cardiaco di poter potenzialmente salvare un’altra vita donando un DAE ad un’organizzazione, un ente o una struttura a propria scelta. Quest’ultimo può inoltre decidere se fare la propria donazione in maniera anonima o tramite annuncio pubblico. MET-LIFE in qualità di partner STRYKER si impegna a sostenere il progetto di un defibrillatore in regalo, proseguendo nella diffusione della cultura della cardioprotezione. Nella foto la prima donazione MET-LIFE per Forward Hearts da parte di un sopravvissuto alla sezione del Soccorso alpino di Gemona nel 2018.
